<font color="#333333" size="2">광주송학초등학교(교장 강신도)는 5월 교육주간을 맞아 최근 다문화대안학교인 광주새날학교 초청 &quot;새날학교 학생들과 함께하는 체험학습 (다르지 않아 같이가자 이젠 하나니까-Happy Day)&quot; 행사를 개최했다. <br /><br />이날 송학초등학교를 찾은 새날학교 초등반 학생 30여명은 송학초 담임교사의 인솔하에 배정된 반으로 들어가 하루 수업을 받았다.<br /></font>

<br />또 오전수업을 마친 새날학교와 송학초 학생들은 최근 조성된 송학누리길을 따라 백마산을 오르며 서로 잡아주고 끌어주는 협동학습도 실시해 모두가 하나되는 통합교육의 새로운 모델을 제시했다.<br /><br />현재 광주새날학교는 광주로 이주한 유랑민 고려인동포 자녀를 비롯한 7개국출신 중도입국청소년 97명이 초.중.고 과정을 공부하고 있다. <br />

<br />통합교육의 날 행사를 갖게 된 것은 위탁교육기간을 마치고 원적학교로 복귀할 예정인 학생들의 심리적 불안을 덜어주고 학교생활에 적응할 수 있도록 지원하는 전단계 교육모델로 광주시교육청과 광주송학초의 세심한 배려로 이루어졌다.<br /><br />따라서 새날학교 초등반 학생 30여명은 일반학생들처럼 오전 8시30분까지 일반학교에 등교한 후 정해진 반에 출석 한국인 학생들과 어울려 정상적인 수업을 받으며 일반학생들이 받는 교육분위기를 익혀 나갔다. 또 짜투리 시간을 이용 자국문화와 언어를 소개하는 시간도 가졌다.<br />

<br />새날학교 문정용교사는 &quot;통합교육을 실시한 결과 2015년 2월까지 90여명의 학생들이 원적교로 복귀 일반학생과 적응하며 학교생활을 잘 하고 있다&quot; 며 &quot; 통합교육에 협조해 준 송학초 교장선생님과 교직원께 감사를 드린다&quot; 고 말했다.<br />

<p><br />한편, 광주광역시교육청(교육감 장휘국)은 중도입국다문화 청소년과 일일통합교육을 비롯한 다양한 교류사업을 발굴 가장 모범적이고 혁신적인 다문화교육모델를 제시해 타시도의 귀감이 되고 있다.<br /></p>
